I thought it was a reasonable performance from us yesterday given our lack of quality up top. I didn’t think it was a bad match to watch either. |

It was the most entertaining match I've watched this season. That's not saying alot but still... Small positives. A bit more end product in the final third and I think the result would be very different.

I'm not sure it is, how many managers have been lauded on here only to fail or be sacked the next season I.e. Gary Waddock, Dave Challinor, Martin Allen. It's got to be more about the quality and size of the squad and generally at our level versatility. This season with 2 games nearly every week and Covid interuptions the depth of that squad will probably make a real difference.

Re: Will the right signings be available in the next Transfer Window
Harder in January, we may have to pay over the odds for good players aswell with the added factor that clubs know we have a lot of money.
A top CEO and good manager must come first though. Then fine tuning needed in the squad, for now, as I do think this team can challenge the top 7. 2/3 more quality faces would do nicely. Strikers and wingers being a must. Last edited by joe; 22nd November 2020 at 13.07:18.. |
