Re: Will the right signings be available in the next Transfer Window
To be honest I'm not thinking about new players.
What I really yearn for is good football management and coaching to properly judge what we've got already.

Yes true we need to assess and gauge whether we are getting the best out of those we have , probably ditch one or two send a couple out on loan and sign quality if we can.

Re: Will the right signings be available in the next Transfer Window
If Keates is in charge i would say not likely. Inevitably he will try and get Andy Cook here and though there are rumours he might leave Mansfield but with a new Management set up there thats not guaranteed anymore.
My worry is that fourfold. One every one knows we have money now and will up the price on any player to a much higher level. Two if Keates has players in mind like Cook he will spend the entire window trying to get them but possibly miss out on them. Three was given a large Jan transfer budget it and spent it on crap. Four we could get quality in but theres a good chance we will not use it right. |

Re: Will the right signings be available in the next Transfer Window
After two wins and clean sheets with the same players who were going nowhere a few weeks ago if just highlights how unpredictable the beautiful game can be.
I fully agree with Dafgog with the first act he/she should make is to say goodbye to Dean and team and bring in new management. I would hope and expect them to put together a team that can challenge for promotion next season but in the words of 'Thunderbirds' 'anything can happen and it usually does'. COYR |
