It will undoubtedly be safer than sitting in a bar or restaurant with other people.

However, would you still be prepared to wear a mask whilst attending (unless eating chips for a quid for example)?

That i feel will be a requirement for attending as we are now being told to wear masks on picking up our children from school.

Asking people to wear a mask outdoors is idiotic.

I therefore fully expect that to be the rule :-)

So where exactly do you stand on this . If they insist you have to wear one to watch the match do you stay home and do the online shopping as normal?
OOH tells us that mask wearing outside the school to collect the kids is now a requirement . Too much close socialising at the school gates probably the reason.

I agree that if outside generally (going for a walk etc) then yes, masks don't need to be worn. But i can also see why they would bring it in for things such as football matches etc where people get quite demonstrative and vocal () plus the close proximity (2 metres isn't that far for airborne viruses to fly)...

its not that much of a hardship to wear a mask for 2 hours really.
I know people who wear them all day whilst at work!

I wont be attending a match until Keates is gone unless thewre is a dramatic change in the way the team is set up and managed .
No I wont wear a mask in the open air but of course would when travelling to my seat if requested.
By the way the requirement to wear a mask when picking childen up from school is only advisory / guidance and the word "should" was used not "must". My children are in their 40's so doesnt apply to me but I see it as another chip away at our freedoms & individual choices .

It may be 'should' but if the school require it we have to comply.

But i don't see wearing a mask as an issue, or a restriction of my freedom etc. I can still go to places/shops i want and do the things i want and if i have to wear a mask for a couple of hours i don't see the problem.

I would rather take the view that its not restricting me but it is protecting others.

IMO, wearing a mask isn't uncomfortable or restricting. It can be a bit annoying remembering to take one out with you but i just keep one in my coat pocket now.

It won't be forever.

But anyway, all this is probably a debate for another more off topic thread lol..
