Neither had the money to actually run the club! There has been 8 years of no real investment.

Or did that go straight over your head.

Bizarre. The fans did have the money. That’s why we are debt free and secure in our own home...unlike 2011.

If the fans hadn’t taken the club on, there would be no club now.

In the absence of the sort of offer we are now seeing the WST was at that moment the best option by a million miles. I personally believe that the way we are currently run has contributed to the new ownership rightfully having to consider the fans requirements in the deal. If we were just being sold by another individual we would have had no zoom calls and no transparency.
While I welcome hole heartedly this deal I also recognise the role played by the WST. Admittedly they made mistakes but show me a club that has not made management selection errors and I will show my bum in Woolies window. In life it is important to recognise when you are out of your depth and ,ultimately, that is what the WST did for many it was too late but looking back I will accept the Bryan Hughes debacle etc when I see Peter Moore and dreamland revenue streams on the horizon. I guess that is because I am a Wrexham fan prepared to accept mistakes and human failings. Most importantly I will not look back and fabricate ludicrous scenarios.

There was the hybrid model on offer where by the WST would be majority owners and two wealthy individuals were on the table to come in along side them. Under that model we would have kept ownership of Colliers too.
That was my preferred solution but the WST zealots scared them off

Look at the post of haruki, there was always options and 11 bids who we will never know who they were.

You will defend the wst, fan ownership even when it fails drastically ....

The fans didn’t have the money to run the club we cut everything including the youth academy that’s the sacrifice made to have a group of wst zealots at the helm, it’s destroyed the club.

If you look at how much was wasted from ward and Taylor it’s more money than the initial investment under new ownership, how on earth have never had a decent striker in that time.

Madness all of it is.

Everyone makes mistakes I get that and I believe the WST had the interest of the club at heart. I'm not even going to get into all the stuff about harrasement etc.

However... some blinding obvious mistakes were made and they made several balls ups. No apology, no plan to move forward. Only slight change of attitude was when Covid struck and they wanted bailling out of the poop
