Based on what he did whilst here he was better than Keates in every single way, plus he can speak clear and concise English.

Agreed. I think he was the best we've had in recent yours, but we are surely a decent attraction now to much better options.

A few months ago possibly....I'd like to think that we can now do much better next time we appoint a manager.

Comparing to Keates now is pretty irrelevant....If DK does well he will stay, if he doesn't he will be sacked and we would likely be ambitious in his replacement, close to a win-win.

Glad he has struggled, mainly because a few Shrewsbury supporting work colleagues gloated that they'd pinched him from us. Just wish he'd have taken them down first.

I think this is a good relevant point as to where we are now in relation to when he departed.

The problem with both Keates and Ricketts is that they left far too early in their development as a manager. They really hadn't served their apprenticeship and had too little experience in the managing game. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't !!
