Dover Athletic have had five National League games postponed after a player tested positive for coronavirus.

Tuesday's scheduled game at Maidenhead was called off four hours before kick-off following the positive test.

Dover's forthcoming games against Chesterfield, Solihull Moors, Wrexham and Wealdstone are also off and will now be played later in the season.

The Kent club said their first team staff and players had started a 14-day period of self-isolation.

You can bet your bottom dollar that they will be on a hot streak when we do get around to playing them.

They are currently 22nd in the League

Hopefully Keates will be gone when the rearranged fixture takes place. That would be a huge plus.

With England opening up and some people going mad with shopping etc we can expect the virus to take off again in January. I can see this season not being finished. Already there is a questionnaire out for the so called non elite leagues to suspend their season. Wait and see I suppose.

The fact that National league is considered elite is a bit of a laugh. Who comes up with these terms I wonder.

Depends on what and who you believe ! Lets face it the virus has never really "taken off" in this country has it ? . How many of these so called positive tests are really positive ? As for the number of deaths , why cant we see the real truthful figures of people that really died of this virus not those that died WITH the virus up to 3 months AFTER a positive result .
If masks and 2 m distancing plus hand cleaning etc etc work why are the pubs, cinemas, bowling alleys etc in Wales closing yet again. Something stinks here !!
