Default EFL highlights programme....

Just watching the goals round up...Sam Allardyce saying he is looking for a new project to take a struggling Club with potential up the leagues...he certainly has the experience and has been paid off so many times he won't need a huge salary! I'd take anything instead of Keates at the moment, even Big Sam!

Allardyce doesn’t get teams promoted, he saves them from relegation........thinking about it, if Keates is kept on too long he may be the right man for the job.

Sounds like he's touting himself for the job

His ego is certainly big enough for the documentary

I agree. Listening to him, it was like he was repeating the job description, . It sounded like he'd had a discussion and dropping hints. He will certainly have come across Peter Moore during his career and with wages not being an issue, may see it as a challenge and a chance to be part of this story. It may be very unlikely, but in these mad amazing times you never know. After hearing him speak, I really wouldn't be surprised. Relatively local and a big name in the game.

Allardyce got West Ham promoted, but even better still, turned Bolton Wanderers into a Top 5 team, playing in Europe. His style of football might be bad on the eye at the top level, but we watch a lot worse week in,week out. If in the unlikely scenario, we had a chance of getting him here, you'd be mad not to.

Would not be a timid wallflower, and the players would know they had to become more professional.

I could think of far worse and far better. But coincidences are rare!

I'd have him here. He was appointed England manager not too long ago.
