I would not rush Lainton back. I'd leave him on the bench tomorrow evening as a further precaution for now. Dibble has done well enough as deputy!

Why would you leave the best in the division on the bench, play a weakened side and potentially lose? Keats selection manual?

Why? The “rest” period after concussion is 14 days. He hasn’t pulled his hamstring or done his ACL and need feathering back to action. Get him back in.

Have you read the recent serious discussions on rugby union and management of head injuries of former players? I would not rush Lainton back purely on health grounds whether the protocol rest period is 14 days or not! That to me is the all important factor whether three points or not are on offer!

The decision about deciding if he is able to play from a health protocol does not lie with Keates. If he is told he is good to go, then he has to pick him.

Glad you don't pick the side.
