Gary Mills first season we played good football , just cant understand why that stopped so abruptly , as soon as Dom Vose left we fell apart .

It's because he started taking backhanders from agents

Yes we played some fantastic football for the first part of that season and then it all fell apart.I think we had James grey up top who worked hard but needed 7 chances to score a goal.

i liked Gray, he had a good touch, aggressive and worked the line well, put a shift in, his off field antics let him down, but thats football

Woking at hime, 4-0, springs to mind.

Some of the best football I’ve seen in my 25 years The Cae Ras.

Moke in centre mid was also a bold but fantastic move that had us picking up lose balls and driving it forward quickly. Moke stopped playing CM for a reason I can't remember which also stunted us. He seemed to lose his way on the field afterwards. Vose was a lazy git in the main but he was also a match-winner. Phasing him out was a big mistake, regardless of where he went afterwards. At the time we had an absolute baller full of confidence.

Never realised Vose was only 22 when he played for us,very sad that a player who had so much talent ends up at Margate his 8th club since leaving Wrexham.

Yep. Aldershot at home for me was, at this level, footballing perfection.

I loved Vose, there always has to be room for a player like him in a team. Like Billy, I never realised he was that young. Googling some of his recent interviews makes for interesting reading.
