Re: Stockport Predictions
The rest can work one of two ways.
1. The players have recharged their batteries, will be well rested and will be raring to go against a side who should be a little 'leggy' 2. The players will be lethargic, a tad overweight from all the time off / Xmas festivities and will be rusty due to no game time I'll let you all guess which one it will be but judging by our performances over the years following enforced mid season breaks I know which one I'll go for especially as our training regime consists of the players standing around doing next f**k all for less than 10 hours per week. Professionals my arse. No wonder we've been getting stuffed by decorators and postmen for 12 years Roll on January |

Re: Stockport Predictions
All the performances suggest we’ll lose on Monday. However Stockport are level on points with a game in hand.
I’m going for a 1-1 draw. We score early from a set piece, Stockport score late on after battering our defence for the remaining minutes. |

Re: Stockport Predictions
Our performances this season have been dire yet we’ve picked up points and I can see the same on Monday night - crap performance but at least a point on the board, I’ll say 2-2.
In other news Bobby Grant got a straight red today playing for Oldham following an aerial challenge with no other than Jake Lawlor!! Good to see that he didn’t save his ill discipline for Wrexham solely. |

Re: Stockport Predictions
2-0 to Wrexham following our day off on which Stockport lost to Alty on a heavy, sapping pitch suffering lots of injuries and having 4 players sent off.

Re: Stockport Predictions
“Yeah, look. We were looking for a reaction after our break, and the lads didn’t start as sharp as we wanted. And, look, after going behind we kept the tempo up and set our traps, but the ball didn’t carry to the channels we’d planned. Look, we turned things around at halftime, and the lads put gave fantastic effort but we were unlucky to concede that many. On the positive side, the lads turned up and put in a shift, and look, we’ll review it and go again next against, um, who is it?”
3-0 to the port. |
