I think the problem for a lot of these Lads is they lose confidence and thats down to Management , Some decent lads here that are lacking confidence , because of tactics , or being dropped , playing out of position , the way they are asked to play , whatever .
How many players have come here with good reputations , played shite , then moved on and been decent again ? And its the same with some of the current squad . We need a decent Manager

Does this point to Darlington being a bigger issue than Keates around the squad.

Exactly this ...After all the players that have passed through the club it’s quite evident it’s down to management

There in lies our greatest problem, the number of managers and players who have passed through the club, has been ridiculous. Bringing in a dozen plus players each summer window and numerous changes throughout the rest if the season is very very rarely a winning formula.

It will be all change again, shortly. At least the money will be there to attract that extra quality and more strength in depth, but the quicker Wxm AFC can establish some stability, the sooner we can start to find some consistency on the pitch.

The club are only making a portion of the £2m available to strengthen the playing squad.
How much do you think ? I estimate no more than £250,000 for this window and I don’t trust DK to spend it wisely.

Quigley, Boden, the lad we had on loan from Cardiff (can’t remember his name), Storer,

Would say Rooney but he played well here for the most part.
