January is a key month for this club with a transfer window that we must exploit given our need for international clearance and our clear lack of height in midfield and attacking ability. There are six games plus a month now for the next three months, now is the time to act.

Get it done, no more misery or taking the name of this great club in vain for a second longer!

How do we know players were not turning up. I thought dk in his interview said due to covid procedures players weren’t able to make training. I could be wrong, but were players definitely not turning up to training? Absolute shocking if they aren’t and should no were near have a look in at the side. Would prefer youth team players play than them today as well

Did you watch the video? He didn't say players are refusing to turn up and said that it's not an excuse. It's not unreasonable for him to explain what's been happening the last week or so as it's clearly messed things up.
I can't wait for a new start and a new manager but most of this is just misrepresenting what he said.

Actually yes I’ve listened multiple times to the video and Keates says that he has to trust the players, what they are saying, and that multiple players (not one or two) didn’t turn up for training over the time between the matches - listen back yourself if you don’t believe it. Now whether they were claiming Covid or any other reason it isn’t made clear but what Keates says is that they were put on personal training programmes and that it isn’t an excuse for the performance (except he is quoting it when reasoning the poor performance!). If it were Covid then why are we playing, look how many other matches are being called off because of it, if it wasn’t then what are the fans meant to think when the manager comes out with that in a post match interview. Just because you don’t like it, don’t call it misrepresentation - look, it is what is is!!

Others have had matches called off because players have had covid. Our players came into close contact with the camera crew who have had a positive case so could only train once together.

I don't like it because there's plenty to beat Keates with without making stuff up.

If one or two haven’t been in training, then pick others from the squad to play in the game. That’s the whole point of having a squad isn’t it? You play your best 11.

Perhaps players are being influenced by outside sources, Keates knows he is on his way so is not too bothered or interested. The plot of the documentary is too make R and R look like they have saved us from decline and how by appointing a new manager has turned the team around making for a better viewing platform. But this is just my take on things and how I see it. Personally I think I will write this season off and certainly will not subscribe to online streaming until both the take over and the window cleaner leaves the building.

I think he was just using 1 or 2 as a turn of phrase. He went on to say later that it was actually a lot higher than just 1 or 2.
