We trained at Colliers today

I think I saw them about a month ago too.

We have had a occasional use of it since it was completed. The issue is that it isn’t available on a regular basis as our base and that’s not changing. Its not just the FAW, its largely booked out by the university in the day.

The latest class of 92 documentary shows Salford really struggling for a training ground. Gary Neville stated when you start signing championship quality players they donít just ask about the money but also the training ground, sports science etc.

Although Colliers is a great facility- Iíd prefer a permanent base for us which we arenít renting. If/ when R+R move on from owning the club we donít want to be stuck with a £100k rent on a training ground vs owning our own facility.

I think we should rent Colliers, if available, while we build new training complex. Surely money isn't an issue if owners have ambition

It's not an option. They really need a two year plan for a new training ground (not the groves) and to temporarily use someone else's facilities. We really don't have to train in Wrexham, although should look to long term.

Perhaps the WST could invest in a freehold somewhere as some form of asset protection for the club moving forward?
