Scored the winner for us at Turf Moor the night Gareth Owen spent most of the game in goal for us.

Does anyone else remember when he floored a Watford player with a punch at Vicarage Road? I think it was 1996 and amazed he wasn't sent off.

Wasn't at that game so can't comment but best punch I ever saw thrown on the pitch was a few seconds after Joey had been fouled 2 footed at Lincoln.

The Lincoln lad stood there waiting for the obvious red card when Roger Preece ran in and floored him with one punch.

See ya Rog ! Joey was as proud as punch so to speak

Krux: OTT springs to mind! I remember another good Man U loanee like Wilson, namely midfielder Robbie Savage, during Bobby Roberts' time in the mid-80s - no not Bradley boy!

Scored the winner for Bolton at the Racecourse in around 1987 that promoted them on the last day of the season sparking the famous pitch invasion

Krux: Very good perhaps but never great! I use that term in the context of Denis Law, George Best, Bobby Charlton!
