Very fitting that Scott Green was signed on Valentine's Day (14th February and not 1st July which, we all know, is Ryan Valentine Day).

Nothing can top Ruthers day for me. In 50 years we'll still be celebrating his time at the club. Work rate day.

People are just saying he was a good player. He wasn't here long, he's not a red legend, he played for us years ago (incidentally in the team that had its highest ever finish in the 40 years I have been watching the reds IF I remember correctly), but that doesn't mean he wasn't a good player.

Its not like people are including him in an all time Wrexham XI or anything or included his name in the 'four stands' thread.

Personally I don’t enjoy the annual traditions of Ruthers day. I don’t fin running aimlessly around a field to be at all enjoyable
