Not played in 18 months after a serious knee injury.

Yes, so hard to quantify how useful he would be in his current state. Probably better than Thomas but, with a bit of a diet, so could I!

That’s one of our usual pre signing mandatory requirements so it’s got to be on .

Agree, he would be better in his current state (i.e not playing) than our current strikers

So:

He's had a serious injury and not played for the best part of two years. However...
He's played here before.
Knows the area.
Knows the club.
Is highly unlikely to be the player he was.

Under the shrewd guidance and full skillset of the WST and club board that just about ticks every box doesn't it? Or have I missed something?

Then, even if he is the same player as before the injury you can guarantee we'll use him in the worst possible way, won't play to his strengths in any way and do everything within the unique powers of Keates and Pep D to completely ruin him. Exciting times.

If anything scouting should have been made really quite easy this season given that the bulk of games can be streamed.

this is all going to depend on who is our manager once we get money.

If its Keates, it will be Andy Cook. that will be it.

if its A N other(s) then the non league / league 2 world is our oyster

If this club has a scout his CV must have more lies on it than a WST club statement.

I hope that the new CEO will be appointing Scouts etc cos relying on DK selecting has never worked. His specifications are:

Mate
Twilight of career
'chunky'
Can last a good 60 mins occasionally
Or Loaned players that never play
