Also quite scary when you see some 'its just the flu' 'scamdemic' 'casedemic' facebook educated types who are also Wrexham fans / 'co owners' etc re-publishing the nonsense. It is hardly encouraging for the case for fans to go back when you could be sat next to someone who think as they are ok, or it had a mild affect on them, then everyone is fine / making it up.

Part of me thinks with the hospitals as full as they are should football be playing. An ambulance and two paramedics had to take Lainton to hospital at Bromley, God forbid that happened again, would we feel OK putting that sort of unnecessary strain on the NHS at the moment?

Looks very likely at this stage, but you'd think it's an easier decision to write off the season after 14/15 games compared to last season when it was all kicking off. January appears pretty much written off, so the window to get the games played and have some kind of summer break looks pretty small.

Hospital visit during the highest level lockdown, with range of services stopped and no public visiting was quiet in the separated non-covid areas?

It is like the video of the Countess being 'quiet' where the bloke wanders past the pharmacy and cafe (!). Amazingly the 180 covid patients and 14 on ventilation not being treated in corridors.

Glad to hear it's not struggling currently. Unfortunately there's a lag between cases increasing and hospitalisations.

Wrexham has a case rate of 700 per 100,00 and that's before we've seen the impact of Christmas mixing. We're probably a good few weeks behind London where hospitals are at breaking point.

Hopefully we don't get it as badly, but in the current climate it's hard to see how football continues at our level.
