With how highly respected Cowley brothers are, it does make you wonder why they haven’t had a job yet? They’d of definitely of had one of the jobs that’s been going over the last few months. It seems to me like they are waiting for a job that will become available? I genuinely believe they are coming here. Someone has already been in contact with them & promise them a lot of good things.

Here’s hoping the takeover is announced today.

They interviewed at Tranmere apparently. You'd like to think they'd walk into a L1 job but potentially want a challenge here

I don't get the love in for Young. Wouldn't have got on the bench in our 98 point season.

We need better then him to get out of this division

He has been poor recently I agree, but I think that’s a collective problem within the management and team.

In that 98 point side, he would be in the team before Tolley, who was the third midfield player after Fowler left.

Time has moved on since then though.
The league IMO has got poorer.

He wouldn't get in that 98 point team, agreed but compared to his team mates and the vast majority of midfielders in this division, i would say he is one of the best when he is on form.

A midfield with Young in would be good enough to get out of this division, provided those playing with him were of a similar quality and not crocks, kids or eldsters!!

Its true. If you think Keates could command 60k a year plus you're dreaming. I'm not sure what wages you think most non league managers are paid but there will not be many on over 60k a year. I was told Askey wanted 50k and he'd just won the league with Macclesfield

And provided he doesn't have to do the running for the other midfielders he's playing with because most of the time he does.

WE have no idea how good or bad our players are when they are playing out of position with awful negative defensive hoof ball tactics.
