Default Ratings vs Dover

Lainton 7 - let down by those in front of him for their goal
Horsfield 6 - Struggled with the role but covered well for RHJ
Kelleher 7 - scored the 2nd I think and cleared everything that landed in front of him
Vassell 7 - he had one of his better games today, not up against much though
RHJ - 8 did all that was asked of him and more
Harris 5 - was lucky to stay on given his rash challenge that led to their goal. Not one to remember your 200th game by
Young 5 - struggled to impose himself on the game considering they were so poor
Davies 6 - hoped we would see the talent he clearly possesses and only saw it in glimpses
Jarvis 6 - this lad should be tearing these up but sadly it didn't work for him today.
Ponticelli 6 - worked hard in the first half but tired in 2nd half
Adi 6 - he is clearly not a target man and does his work in the box.

Ruthers - not sure but did he play the ball over the top which sent the keeper into trouble?
Thomas - on long enough to give their keeper the jitters and earn a penalty

Confidence with the young ones must be on the floor, until we get rid of the messiahs nothings going to change. We need a manager/coach that can encourage and bring the best out of players . Unlike the current mob where talent is suppressed.

Yussuf is the best player we have got.

If I was manager, I would be releasing Vassell, Reckord, Harris, Ponticelli, Jarvis and Thomas and signing five decent players to replace them as the spine of the team.

Nonsense

He was picked again after a shocker vs Stockport,, Keates is giving him more than enough chances

Disagree.
The lad wasn’t the only one that had a shocker against Southport, he followed orders as everybody else. Orders from the clueless three.

Agree with your ratings but would add the following comments:

Horsefield 6 - The horse kept the defensive gate closed, but saw little opportunity to gallop forward

Davies 6 - The most technically gifted player at the club only showed flashes of his talent.

Oho right so it was Dean Keates who spooned it over the Stockport bar in acres of space.

Cmon,, players have to take some responsibility

Fair enough, but I still think the tactics and coaching leaves a lot to be desired, stifling what talents there are.
