He's a winger, a player who wants to get in behind and create, of course Keates didn't.

What he actually means & thinks in private:
"They are not good enough, Wrexham needs and has to have better".

I refuse to believe otherwise, it just has to be.

He couldn't slate them in public could he?

No, but he’d be better saying nothing as 98% of us know how bad the three of them are.

It's like a rerun of the Matty Done affair!

Come to think of it, what's he up to these days...

The only good thing to come out of this is that these young players could have been lost to the game.
Hopefully they will receive proper training and be valued as individuals. They will have the opportunity to fulfil their full potential.
Possibly in the future they may have the chance to show their true ability as an opposing player in the football league or as a representative of the Welsh team.
Good luck to them all.
It just shows how inept our coaching staff are at the moment and have been for years.
You could not make it up.
Only at Wrexham.
Let's hope this is the lowest we ever sink to.

I wonder how much influence the parents have on these kids and how much dialogue there actually is with the WST. Even if we did have a youth set up, teams from further up the pyramid come calling and parents see bright lights and big bucks. These kids don't make it and invariably fall down the leagues right up to the stage where they are signed by the likes of Wrexham and get abused week in, week out because they are not good enough for us. Bit of a paradox really.

Wasn't Andy Davies supposed to be the conduit between youth and first team? Thought that was part of the reason Dean Keates promoted him in the first place.
Keates chose Durrell and Anthony Johnson.

Says it all.
