All the best to him and at present for the best, as Rutherford is top draw no chance of getting a game ahead of him.

From a quick Google search he was released, could mean he turned a deal down though. I'm sure somebody will know for certain what's gone on.

Think he was invited to train but no offer of deal.
So last season youth system able to produce Beaumont for Sunderland and Huxley for Sheff Wed. and we keep on good old Carrington and Rutherford.

It's good that some good local talent is still being unearthed, it's bad none managed to break through and establish themselves.

Whatever way you dress it up, that's a massive failure given the money it's generated which has been wasted.
