97/98 season highlights
 

Found this the other day.
Someone on YouTube has uploaded a lot of vintage Wrexham highlights recently, from times gone by, that I haven't seen before.

He has uploaded some videos of thev97/98 season that I remember well! If you think about it, we finished just out side the play offs, and thus our highest position in the football pyramid for well over 35 years!

We were in what was Division 2 (now championship) until 82.

You're forgetting Division 3 became Division 2 when the premier league was created.

The best finish in the football pyramid by Wrexham occurred during our second division days 1978-81 i.e. in what is now known as 'The Championship!'

i agree that's why i said over 35 years, as 35 years from today was 1986

redtalk: The way I read your post your message seemed to cite over 35 years from 1997/1998 which thus could be interpreted as the 1960s! Clarity of message is most important but well done on posting details of this video clip! I shall view it with interest along with Part 2 and possibly Part 1, if it is also available!

Am I the only one concerned that 97/8 is considered vintage !!
