Let's be Realistic!!

Ok loads of you want rid of the wst, keates etc and probably most of the players BUT what are the new owners likely to do?
1. We're in a pandemic. Movement of players and other staff is going to be very difficult.
2. You appoint a new CEO who may know football but doesn't know all the ins and outs of the club and culture.
If he makes the wrong calls his future is on the line.
So he will be cautious.
3. You stick with what there is in the short term maybe a few twists here and there but decide to wait for major change at the end of the season. If things go well maybe the playoffs is realistic , but you ain't going to make a fool of yourself by sacking all and sundry and blowing too much cash.
This is a long term project so let's get real and just get behind what there is. The haters will have lots of opportunities when the new owners have a few blips@

How could you not want the wst gone is the question that beggars belief here!

I agree with you, write this season off. Get to summer, don’t renew keates contract and look at the damage of covid.

Other clubs may be worse off come the end, but surely us not having our standard match day attendance is completely different to other teams who only have half of what we get.

The issue overall in this league is most of the teams are southern based, but players will now see us as an outfit who could get their careers moving in the FL, the players know what they are joining and they know they train on worse than a public park under the wst ... hardly appealing is it! The training ground is what is needed IMO, that and the youth academy funded again with FL status.

My forecast: No signings will be completed by Keates! The NL is well on its way to be suspended for this season! Hopefully, Keates & co are soon to go on their own way - OUT!
