Very much aware the buck stops with the manager but the players continually let this club down.

If you read the live match thread, the players certainly get stick but after the game it's Keates and the Trust who get it in the neck.

Most people have played football to some standard. If you miss chance after chance or can't complete simple passes, do instantly blame the manager and coaches?

Who signed said players?
Who appointed the man that signed these players?

And who coaches said players?
Who's responsible for getting them organised into a cohesive & competitive team?
Who's responsible for improving players with good quality coaching and overall guidance?

Again, it's deflecting the blame, isn't it. These are professional footballers.

Let's pick on the lad with the No. 9 on his back. 10 games and 0 goals. He's had chances but he looks utter rubbish. Our right back has scored more goals than him.

Let's pick on the player who I have said is our best player at Conference level; Jay Harris. He may as well be playing in between the centre backs he's so deep. And his mate Luke Young is no better. The pair of them need to be imposing themselves on the opposition midfield but they don't. They don't look to control possession.

What about about Reckord. Looked a decent left back for Solihull. He comes here and he can't pass the bloody ball.

What about Conference winner Elliott Durrell. By virtue of the fact he's scored this season, he's not our worst player.

These are all players who have achieved elsewhere but they come here and they are awful. You can blame Keates or the Trust but why not blame the players.

Hmmm, yes all these players who've achieved elsewhere come here and are awful - as you say.

Maybe there's some sort of conspiracy theory that they all just decide to be shite when they sign for Wrexham and it's nothing to do with Keates and his elite coaching team?

Do you think players and managers respect the fan-ownership structure compared to have a single entity/person making decisions?

Players play to their manager's instruction (or try to). Ultimately the manager decides on their contract being extended or not, so if you are told to be defensive or to play out on the left when you are better in the middle you will do as you are told and/or look for another club.

The board appoint the manager so if anyone is failing to respect the fan owned model it comes back full circle to the manager. (Even this premise is faulty though, ask Kevin Wilkin , Gary Mills and Bryan Hughes)

They report to a single entity/person - the manager. Whether the club is owned by thousands of fans, a consortium or an individual makes little difference.

I hear what you say however, your boss is always the person who can sack you. Naturally, your line manager can make that recommendation!
