Very late 60’s for me. Remember our European game against Zurich early 70’s I think. Thankfully I’ve been able to see our many highs. Unfortunately that seems, and was a long time ago. My dad started me off when I was 6, thankfully my son and nephew both became season ticket holders too. I hope they will be lucky to see some of the good times like I did.

Still remember Graham Whittle's shot hitting the back of the net. Did he really hit it that hard!

9th January 1960. we lost 2-1
Two great goalies Roly Ugolini and Gordon Banks

Stood across the corner of the kop about 10 rows up
and continued there until moving to MRS ( just as cold )
Always travelled on the train from Shotton and went early to get autographs.

1967. I started going part of the way through the season. First game was Southend at home and I think we won 2-0. It was the season we drew something like 19 games. We finished about 6th or 7th. Hooked from then on.

losing 5-1 away to Aston Villa in the league cup our ex manager scoring two goals (Little)
Plus a player who scored one, and then later signed for us (Frank Carrodus).

Beating Chester Home and Away

Wrexham 3- Rotherham 3 14th August 1993

Me and my dad had been to a couple of games the season before, following the Arsenal match the season before that when we were new to the area. It wasn't till the 93/94 season that we started going every week.

November ‘61 v Aldershot, won 2-1,promotion season.
Don’t know how I came to be hooked on the Town. I had no Wrexham connections whatsoever. Just went along on Bellis’s buses from Buckley with schoolmates and have never stopped going. Just love the club and always will.
Pisses me off now when I speak to people who ‘used to go,but don’t anymore’.
Guess they were never real fans !

First season going as a regular was 1974/75. We had moved from the Wirral to Mold in May 1974 so my Dad started taking me to all the games the following season. Prior to that I had seen us a few times at Tranmere and the odd home game. Greatest memory and saddest memory of that season was both to do with the same game v Aldershot. My hero at the time Dave Smallman scored a hatrick in that game but sadly it was his last game for us before his move to Everton. Coincidentally 5 weeks later I was at Goodison to see Dave score on his home debut for Everton.

Tuesday evening September 1968, we beat Scunthorpe 2-1, Kinsey 2. Kevin Keegan was in their squad but not sure if he played.
