deflective technique to ignore that money could still be available.

but...
I'm don't have the agenda of Westminster taking back control of Wales by divide and conquer.

Welsh football turnover was £250 million plus, but the majority of that is the teams whilst wru is a centralised system.

the fact remains the decision on Welsh sports grants was before the club board knew that they weren't going to get cash from national league. they can't go back as people have planned, but there is still cash available and the chap in charge has given cash to Wrexham e.g. focus wales, the new museum and ty pawb.

so put your agendas back in the box for a week to wait and see what occurs.

Lesley Griffiths showed her incompetence in contacting Sport England. Her researcher should surely have advised her of Wrexham's non-eligibility for funding from this English quango!

I imagine you cover all bases first and get a paper trail.

I’ve just noticed that all the games in the Conference North were postponed.

Wrexham found out on the 29th - they weren't included in the national league loan system.

However, my view was Sarah Atherton MP was talking about the 10 million extra that was announced for national league steps 3-6. That was announced on the 27th. In theory, re: Barnett formula - Sports Wales has an extra 500k now to play with.

Cut the senedd some slack for now. They wouldn't have received that extra cash yet.
So If ALL the extra funding that MAY be available amounting to 500K is given to Soccer, Rugby will get £13.5 Million and Soccer £1.5 plus £0.5. That's very fair.

Dover chairman Jim Parmenter has threatened to “cease football operations” and place all of the club's staff on furlough this week if the National League continues without funding.
Can the National League North and South afford to continue their fixtures if such an initiative is dependant on loans. Not knowing if and when crowds are allowed back makes it very difficult if not impossible for the season to continue.

if you want to play the south v north divide and conquer card to stoke up hate to support abolish the assembly in an election year... absolutely yes.

Which is what you are doing.

Why not cut the senedd some slack for a few weeks?

The WRU gave up their home for 6 months to help the covid effort, I don't remember Twickenham doing that. They didn't even give a chariot.

You have a vivid imagination. I purely asked if you thought the Senedd division of funding between Rugby and Soccer in Wales was fair.
