We could do with Altrincham’s scouting set up , as they have made some decent signings.
The manager is worth a shout as well.Isn’t he ex -Nantwich ?
A young successful manager on the way up would be like the Cowleys before they joined Lincoln.

Ben Whitfield from Torquay is the one we should be looking at. Class player. Out of contract in the summer and from Bradford too, would he want a move closer to home?

The amount of players who have impressed against us and we have missed out on is longer than the number of years we have been in this league

I always remember Marcus Maddison ripping us a new one a few years back, days later he joined Peterborough

Colclough has had his demons in the past, and hopefully they wouldnt resurface again

If given the opportunity to sign him, I would be happy if he joined

Think Torquay will start to drop off now, not in good form and got injuries. Although wouldn't mind Whitfield in the summer.

I dunno if I'd take the risk with him. Obviously depends how his court case goes, Scunny got rid of him after an investigation into the allegation so it'll be interesting. As others have said, it'll be in the summer at the earliest if true.

I did think he was a handy winger, though. But another lad who played for Altrincham against us I think we should look at was Ali Smith. Big centre midfielder who didn't give the ball away and is only 21. He's under contract there until 2022 but we have money now.

Don’t forget the most infamous one - a certain Andre Gray

I'm hoping the days of us taking long shot punts on players needing some sort of re-hab are over.

Everyone makes a mistake, he deserves another chance. Get him here, if he makes another he'll be sacked.
