Default Players wage demands

In a recent article keates explains how players he approached to sign and give a contract to came back with unrealistic demands. Do we see this happening in the summer clubs and players now knowing we have the money so trying to eek out more and more money? And will it be a major problem going forward

I guess its called management. I would not have thought we are a hard sell at present. If DK does not like the heat then his 'hometown' club are without a manager at present.

Not sure this would be a massive issue.

Sure some will try it on, but the new owners have said they intend to be realistic on what they are prepared to pay players. I'm not sure there will be too many clubs at our level willing to pay silly wages given everything else that has gone on recently.

And if they are, good luck to them.

Players will always try and get the maximum page possible, clubs will always try and pay the minimum. There isn't a huge amount of money in the lower leagues, so I'm not convinced the players are in a position to play hardball, it's not like many are indispensable.

I would also think if you have a manager with a bit presence or personality or record of achievement in the game would get good players signing up .Sometimes it's not all about the money .

This is what i think. Of course its a job so money is important, but equally important is putting themselves in the shop window, no better way to do that than with a successful team..

Poor Dean, given every bit of financial support possible. WST set a budget for him that would see us make a huge loss and then two millionaires made a donation so he could get players in but it still isn't enough for him.

If only the fans could band together to raise £100k to be spent on the first team.... I'm sure he wouldn't waste it or walk out on the club six weeks later... again
