Default Remaining Fixtures

Assuming that the league continues (albeit without Dover) then we have an amazing run of home games coming up from 13/03 (seven home fixtures in a month and a bit). Add to this the fact that we still have to play all of the teams above us but mostly at home and it makes for positive reading.

If the Dover fixtures are cancelled out we will lose three points for a home win but save the monster away day trek to the coast. Whilst if crowds are ever let back into grounds the more home fixtures the better as the 12th man advantage will undoubtedly come to the fore if the team continues to be around the playoffs and the feel good factor continues around the clubs future.

Aim has got to be 70 points plus from this point onwards and a playoff spot.

Great to see some optimism back around the place. Been a while. Whatever happens, its certainly going to be unique. Last nights streaming, for me,was just a glimpse of how things will change.

Got to beat Notts County twice (No easy task and hope them and Sutton start dropping a few points with the games in hand they have)

PO place minimum is there for the taking. Dover situation could make it interesting.

We should definitely make top 7, however I think we need to be top 3 to have a chance of promotion.

that has to be the aim.

Torquay have completely gone off the boil, so the teams below them with games in hand are back in the mix for automatic promotion, which definitely leaves the door open for us for a top 3 finish.

However, we still have the same management team and players that we had previously, so how we perform and gather points in our next few games will give us a better indication of our chances. We need to go to places like Aldershot on Saturday and play to win, instead of playing not to lose.

We are barely half way through the season so there's a long way to go yet and lots of ups and downs before the promotion and play-off spots are settled.

I can't get my head round the fact that there is still half a season to go, it seems to have been going on for ever. It's probably a combination of the covid situation, the late startand the wait for the takeover to be finalised.

Whatever the reason, we are quite well placed and need to capitalise on our current half-decent form and go for it. Yes, I desperately want a new manager and backroom staff, together with a couple of new players, but that isn't likely at this point.

Let's just give it a go - you never know what could happen, if we haven't learnt that since this time last year e never will.

These teams in the mix have to play each other as well

Torquay are in freefall, however I think only Notts and Stockport have the quality to take advantage of it. We’re looking a lot better but unfortunately don’t think we have it in us to go on a big run, lets not forget the way we were playing not that long ago.

I’d be disappointed not to make the play offs though.
