I guess this is why they are getting the architects in. The "Sunderland" mock-up looks great, however the one thing it does do is highlight that the other two stands would need upgrading, especially the Yale.
A re-design for the stadium as a whole, that could be done in stages.

Agree, to have no stadium further north than Swansea capable of holding a full international is shocking for a country in the top 20 of the FIFA rankings

I hope is part of a longer term programme to replace the Yale and ERS, both of which are approaching 50 years old

The thing nobody has mentioned on here is Covid.

When we're allowed back in, chances are we'll have restricted capacities and have to be well spread out quite possibly for all of next Winter. So we may need a 20k capacity to even fit 5k people in next season.

We'll have all had the vaccine by then (I hope) so will there still be a need to be so spread out?
