Keeper situation to me is fine, I’d not look to change that. Lainton on his day is the best about in the league & we’ve seen last few weeks how good Dibble is. We can afford them both for sure still.

Defenders - keep Kelleher, French, RHJ & Reckord. Maybe Reckord as cover though. I’d get rid of Vassel, Carringon, Pearson & horsefield.. Keep carra & Pearson involved somehow with coaching if possible?

Midfield - Keep young, Davies & Jarvis without a doubt. I really like them 3. Theyd excell even more with a better squad & hopefully an attacking & better manager. Ruthers, Redmond, Harris, Durrell all to be released.

Strikers - Keep Dior, & release Thomas. May be controversial due to his recent form, but I think with the new money & hopefully exciting football, we won’t be wanting a player similar to Thomas. Release Ponticelli or at least loan him out.

Basis of that, I’d say it’s probably more than 4-6 in & replace! Exciting to see what happens. If Keates is in charge, then I only think we will see a few released.

Respect your opinion but couldn't disagree more. This squad is full of average national league players who wouldn't come close to hacking it at a higher level. This season is the worst standard of this league i have come across since we've been down here and we still aren't pulling up any trees. I can't wait to see the back of this league and this squad. Lainton and Davies are the only players who would come close to holding their own in league football. Ponticelli seemed like he may fit the bill last season but god knows what's happened to him.

By all accounts Ponticelli broke a lot of goalscoring records all through youth level, maybe someone could confirm this. Now, I'm a firm believer that you're either a golascorer or you're not. I think there is a player in there.

Might well be the Keates impact which hindered Quigley,Boden and Hooper.

On that basis we are not going to get much better than Quigley.Agree Harris is finished and can do better than Young.
So if the budget is not that much higher than this season how could we afford the likes of Quigley, but saying that Bobby Grants contract would not have come cheap.

The same was said about Massanka the first time around he was poor and never a goal scorer so Keates brings him back to play another 20 odd games.

Quigley has no real pace, is rubbish in the air but can finish.

He would need someone really decent alongside him to prosper

Personally I think Danny Wright is better in the same position but sadly too old now at 37 in September.

Hopefully we have a new manager with new ideas in the summer so we avoid bringing ex players back which traditionally has a success rate of about 0%

I'm sure I read somewhere that we can't skgn anyone from the WPL (even loans). But I can't recall why that is.
That’s because EUFA Premier league rules apply to the WPL.
That’s why I don’t like our players going on loan there , because you can’t recall them until the next window , hence we have no goalkeeper cover at the moment.
We may be able to take loan players from Cardiff , Swansea and Newport though.
