I ordered 3 in the first couple of hours when they went on sale and it didn't say anywhere about a delivery charge, I had a message start of the week to say they were ready for collection. Luckily I'm only 20 minutes from Wrexham but those who live further away may well feel aggrieved to now find out they need to collect.

Anyway I'm not arsed because I'm down to the last bottle

Let’s be honest here the communication it seems is shocking, this should never of gone on sale before the shambles of a system was improved. So I have ordered 3 bottles, 1 for myself and 2 for friends but we don’t know what’s happening it seems. I have friends I told about the gin being on sale after I ordered who have received their Gin.

The club shop should take the loss here and deliver to those who didn't pay the delivery charge. It's their error, why should the customers lose out?

I would wager that this is what Ryan & Rob would want done.

For the avoidance of doubt, the club shop system removed the postage charge option on bigger orders so customers *could not pay it* when they selected delivery rather than collection.

It was like a ‘free delivery on spending over X’ type thing.

The club then decided the customer had not paid for postage, so did not post the order.

They then said all orders for delivery had their items posted - which was not true.

They did not tell customers about the above until this thread.

What? Stories of getting it wrong emerging from Cae Ras? These sort of things would never have happened in the Trust days. Seems a lot of fuss for a bottle or two of something you can lay your hands on more cheaply at the offie or supermarket.

I ordered, paid had acknowledgement of payment, but still waiting for email to go and collect. I bought it as a gift, so although I am not bothered personally it would be nice to be able to say when I can give the gift (as it is already late) perhaps I might get it by Christmas 😁
