![]() Didn’t watch. Didn’t listen. Didn’t follow the live thread.
I don’t have any faith in this team or Keates but even I was surprised they lost 3-0. They are still 7th but have played more games than any of the top 8 and some teams below have got 3 and 4 games in hand. In reality they are a mid table side and when everyone has played the same amount of games that’s where they’ll be, 10th or 11th. That’s as good as it’s going to get with Keates and co in charge. But most of us already know this. |

![]() It was shocking how the heads dropped as soon as we went 1 nil.down. before that we'd been the better side then we stopped doing the stuff that was working and started lumping the ball aimlessly. It was even more shocking how we came out in the second half doing exactly the same thing.
We marginally improved when Jarvis came on but thw damage was done by that point. The midfield was anonymous, but the ball spent most of the time flying over their heads. Angus got in some good positions but his finishing was woeful. Thomas had no chance as he spend most of the game trying to chase down lost balls pumped into the corners. Not what you want your target man to be doing. I thought Reckord and Horsefield were especially bad. And Dibbles mistake for the first goal was unforgiveable. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt for goal two, but he is so unathletic in those situations, Coughlinesque. Absolute disgrace against a team as poor as Aldershot. They were for the taking today. |
