Just asking but I'm curious of the percentage of those saying we should lock down further are actually locked down or furloughed ?
I agree if you or your company can afford to pay the furlough back when this is all over, then there's no argument. In a nutshell businesses who have used and people who have taken furlough need to be the ones paying it back when 100% the gov will come calling for it when things return to normal. Asking those who have worked through and key workers to cover the outlay simply is unfair. This debate will happen so....
As I say just saying.

I think we all know who will be repaying it, the muggins like us at the bottom. I’m sure the people at the top will get their tax cuts and be sound. But that’s just the way it goes isn’t it!

In this country it is LLB, not quite as obliging in other countries. Thats all we do in this country is take it where the establishment want to shove it.

I have a mate inFlorida. For him nothing much has changed he is encouraged to wear a mask and nearly everything has carried on as per usual, despite the fact that folks are dropping like flies due to COVID. The jabs are coming through to the population very slowly (if you have medical insurance).
Not surprising, when the leader of this fine country, up until recently, didn’t take COVID seriously. The reckless idiot! The USA decided to put all their eggs in one basket - work straight through it and don’t disturb the economy. Is that because they are so money driven? You bet.
At least in Europe, our performance has been similar. A mixture of lockdown and help the economy. Surely that’s the fairest way. COVID is such an unprecedented situation - how can anyone be ridiculed for not knowing how many of us would be taken by it?

Obviously a chance of a home match in the playoffs but this could be it for the season.

No ones picked up on it but Kings Lynn can have fans attending games from March 29th as they wont be affected by the rule of 6.

Ironic how they say getting children back into education is a top priority but opening hairdressers seems to be more of a priority.
Just another example of absolutely no clue how to deal with the situation.

I can't see England doing it by 17th May.
Everywhere will re-open and then close like it did last year.

What amazed me last year was, you could go and eat in a cafe/pub etc but couldn't go to the match. Sitting down to eat with no masks. Yet as soon as you stand up the mask had to be put back on.

However, we were not allowed to the match, even though we would be sat outside in the fresh air.

If we sat down, or stood, at a game and didn’t open our mouths fair enough. We all know that during a game, most of us behave totally out of character. Shouting, singing, gesturing aggressively. Perhaps not everybody, but we do forget where we are some days. Despite being “outside”, that is how the virus spreads.
Probably a trip to the pub for a drink or meal, may see more controlled behaviour. I am sounding like one of my old teachers!
