If our new owners/ new CEO have watched us keates won’t be here for long, no need to worry.

Ker and his advisors will read this and probably think all is well with Keates .
Comical.

I think the only reason Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch are still around the club is due to the new owners currently having bigger fish to fry.

Mark was very happy with the point and he could see why Keates set up defensively tonight after scouting the mighty pool. We got a point at home against a playoff team which we should be very happy about. He also answered the question of "would you have been happy to pay a tenner to watch that performance" his answer was yes, he doesnt watch Wrexham to be entertained, he watches us to support us and it sounded like he gets pleasantly suprised when we do entertain. He also kept saying how he followed us since the 70s. Now in that time, which is longer than me, as I was born in 83, but in that time, how many times has he seen a attacking team, a team full of heart, determination and pride, how many teams has he watched that play football the proper way?
In my time I've seen players like Connolly, Bennett, Owen, Brammer, Ward and Hughes. I feel lucky I grew up watching that team, they showed passion and we all got behind them, they were a joy to watch. What do we watch now? There are fans that only know Wrexham as a non league team, and people like Mark Griffiths, who is happy with paying to watch rubbish, shows that he has now become accustom to Keates ball, and has accepted that way of playing. In my eyes it's not the Wrexham way, and it's not entertainment. We need to change the management and bring our identity back, play the ball on the ground and through midfield, we need to go out and play the Wrexham way.
If he was paying twenty quid to get in and watch it might be a bit different,it says it all when he says he does not watch Wrexham to be entertained haha:hurra y: :h urray::hur ray::hurra y:

[QUOTE=TheRealWelshWayne;2443995]Mark Griffiths is doing his job. That being to take the positive. That's generally what sports pundits do during games.

The issue is Keates, his relationship with the fans and his style of play isn't good to watch.

Let's not pick on people just because we're frustrated with Keates and looking for scapegoats or because some connect him to the wst regime just because he was commentating when they were in charge.

If Wrexhams games had been on sky tv do you think Souness or any other pundit would say positives things about a team who are time wasting at home after 20 minutes because they are playing for a 0-0 draw.We are a poor team with negative coaching in a very poor standard of football but I suppose your like your mate you are not watching Wrexham to be entertained!!

Add in all the other flops:

Jordan Evans
Iffy Allen
Izale McLeod
Simon Ainge
James Hurst
Jonathan Franks
Jack Mackreth
Ferdinand Takyi
Massanka again
Jordan Thompson
Tyler Garratt
Tyler Reid
Kyle Barker
Jordan Ponticelli
Anthony Jeffrey

Not to mention the other players he signed that were nowhere near good enough. The likes of Deverdics, Kelly, Akil etc.

The myth that he's some sort of transfer shamen pulling amazing signings off ever window is odd. There's only a handful of Keates signings that would get into a league winning team

Thought Evans was a Mills signing and thought Thompson was ok just played out of position, agree on the others

Yeah you're right about Evans, I'm sure Keates offered him a contract extension though?

I thought Thompson was dire
