Sorry if not allowed but thought some of you might be interested

A guy on Facebook has a group “wales retro shirts” and he is looking to do the shirt if he gets enough interest. Join the group and take a look, he’s got some good replicas on there.

Sorry if I'm being a Killjoy on this but one of the things that the WST promised at the beginning was that 3rd parties shouldn't or wouldn't profit from the use of the Wrexham name/badge. Ever since the R&R takeover was announced everyman and his dog, have been flogging junk and sticking the Wrexham/ deadpool name on it. If we were to wear this beautiful shirt again, wouldn't it be more beneficial to come through the club.

Wrexham would never wear that shirt again as it is from the 80s.

The only chance of an official retro shirt is if the club was big enough to have a direct contract with Adidas and not some teamwear deal like last time.

It's giving people a chance to get a retro/replica that the club are unlikely to be allowed to produce.

So the club couldn't do it legally because they're not big enough, so the alternative is to do it illegally and pocket the cash because they take the risk.

I personally can't see the appeal of wearing something like this. I'd put it in with any other 'knock off' clothing, like Rockford shoes and Burton jumpers with a Stone Island badge sewn on. Either get the real thing and cherish it, or don't bother.

About the only thing the trust ever actually did on this was send threatening emails to the wrexham legends team for having the club crest on their tops... The second best thing the trust have ever done for wrexham is walk away... Definitely being a killjoy here sorry.

If the club produced this stuff, I'd buy it from them, but they don't.

Ive got one of these tops from when retro shirt City / azteca did them and they are alright.
