Dibble (5) Unsure if he could have done any better for their ‘worldie strike’ but he put unnecessary pressure on the team by poor distribution and that bizarre cock-up for that unnecessary corner. Switches off too easily.

Hall-Johnson (7) Timely goal to get us back in it. Worked hard but needs to produce more going forward.

Carrington (8) Held the defence together and has the ability to control the ball and pass it, rather than just hoofing it. My MOTM.

Kelleher (6) Bit unlucky for the second Yellow, but his lack of pace is a limitation.

Vassell (7) No nonsense CB.

Reckord (7) Better than of late but also needs to step up a gear.

Durrell (4) Just not good enough.

Young (7) Best game in a while, and 2 crucial goal-line clearances to keep us in it.

Harris (5) Slow and mostly ineffective. Too busy brawling to do his job.

Thomas (7) He is an acquired taste. Poor first touch but worked his socks off last night, both upfront and in defence. Good poacher’s goal to secure the point.

Angus (6) Good movement in first-half but looked exhausted in the second-half. Probably does need a break and should have been subbed earlier.

Subs:

Davies (7) Has class and is youthful. Should have started.

Ponticelli (7) Quick and industrious.

Many say we should not start with Davies and Jarvis in midfield together. I disagree. Furthermore, I suggest we should not start with Durrell and Harris, neither of whom are delivering enough to warrant Keates’ confidence in them; it is misplaced and will cost us.

That was a gutsy performance against a cynical Eastleigh. They looked tired towards the end, but also passed the ball better than us for most of the game.

We live to fight again — metaphorically, not literally!

Kelleher - Looked like the St. Patricks celebrations had already started for him!

RHJ - He's got a foot like a traction engine.

Thomas - Thomas the tank!
