Re: Bromley Verdict
Back line looked far more assured today. Pearson made a difference with his leadership but for putting Lainton on made the biggest difference. The defenders look far more confident with a proper keeper behind them. He didn’t do much, but there was no fumbling simple catches or getting himself into poor situations with the ball at his feet. French also looked good.
I thought Jordan davies had his best game for us in midfield. Harris and young both did well - apart from a clear foul from Harris in our own box that the ref clearly missed. Dior Angus’s two finishes were really good. Thomas linked well with him. Angus gets MOTM for his goals. Overall it was a sluggish start but once the first goal went in, we were the better side. Not exciting to watch but there does seem progress. We looked fitter than Bromley, which is something that hasn’t been said against an opposition side for some time. A solid 3 points. |

Re: Bromley Verdict
That was exactly the right starting xi for that game.
Kelleher should come in for Vassell next game. French has to start - his stepping out of the back 3 and positive forward balls led to all 3 goals. Posted via mobile theme |

Re: Bromley Verdict
Takes us a while to get into games, but once we do we really press hard on the ball and give the other teams little time when near our goal. Bromley had a couple of clear cut chances, but they are not a bad side and will take points off other sides around us.
Pearson played well and will be interesting to see who plays at the back when Kelleher is available for Notts Co., probably French back on the subs bench. Keates has some good options now in the squad as we go into the business end of the season. |

Re: Bromley Verdict
Can’t complain with 3-0. Some favourable results around us so onwards and upwards.

Re: Bromley Verdict
I'm not sure if we can have Pearson and Kelleher playing at the same time?
