Default Ratings vs Bromley

Lainton 6 - never really troubled but did everything OK

French 7 - Good back 3 performance. Tyler worked well and set up the corner from which we scored the first goal.
Pearson 7 - Good to see the Skip back. Typical SP performance.
Vassell 6 - Effective and decent

RHJ 6 - not as dynamic as usual but give Bromley some credit, they are normally decent down the flanks
Harris 7 - played 90 minutes and thought he was very good
Young 7 - the middle three were very good - almost scored a goal towards the end
Davies 8 - scored the first and played more on the front foot which seemed to suit him.
Reckord 6 - like RHJ was quieter than usual but Coulson is decent on his side

Kwame 7 - worked hard but he needs a better first touch
Dior 8.5 - 2 quality strikes and kept the Bromley defence all game

JP - a couple of decent runs
Duzza - set up a free kick for Young
Carra - not really on long enough

Credit to Keates, Bromley are decent and we were under the cosh for the first 20 minutes but we got about them and scored 3 quality goals.

Next week is a big game

Fair play to Keates both Angus and French look good signings.

Normally a fan of Kwame, but thought he was dreadful today (until the assist).

Fair ratings for me, the midfield 3 best ive seen them this season, the wing backs were quieter but we found a different way to win today which is encouraging

Harris 6?.. In different ways he and Davies were outstanding in midfield. possibly the best Harris has played this season. Pearson amazed me with how he slotted straight back in against 2 top strikers. His leadership shone through a resilient team performance. Keates must take some credit for the end result today. Well done .. match bonus well deserved!

Yep agree with you on Harris. Haven’t been a fan of his but he played well today.
And on Pearson too, slotted right back in.
Some quality turns from Davies but as someone’s said he needs to learn when to release the ball.

Still reckless in and around the box with his tackles and could have shipped 2 pens today...he was very lucky to get away with 2 reckless challenges that I have seen awarded in other games. He also gave away several stupid fouls which allowed Bromley to put good free kicks into our box which was their biggest threat. Cut these out and I would have given him a 7.

That’s the way he has always played even during his first stint here, he had quite a few red cards then. If you take that aggression out of his game, he would probably be a less effective player, as much as we would prefer a bit more restraint at times.
