Having seen the stamp on Dior Angus’ face, I read that he has been involved in this sort of incident of incident previously and got a retrospective 3 match ban. He apparently stamped on John Rooney.

He made no attempt yesterday to protect the opponent but I doubt the Vanarama will do anything about it.

Check the footage and look where the ref is. What was he looking at?

There’s no way the ref could be expected to see it for what it was in real time.

But in the Prem I’m not even sure they’d give that with VAR. They ALWAYS just say it’s accidental and the pundits back it up.

When in reality he knows exactly what he’s doing but it’s hard to prove he did it deliberately.

The more you watch it the worse it looks. Initial thought was that it was accidental, but looking at it again he knows exactly what he was doing.

This will be the league's excuse for not acting, despite the fact he clearly looked down and awkwardly made a shorter step to land on Angus' head.

If you look at yesterday's match podcast, there's a clip of the Rooney incident at the very end.....
Definitely knows what he's doing..

It gets worse. Chris Bush was banned for 3 games after an incident against Chesterfield in 2019. I believe it was an elbow to the face, this time on our old player Scott Boden. More in the link below...
