Every time I bring someone to the racecourse for the first time, they generally don't come back - getting people through the door is number 1 priority for me, and entertaining football of the highest possible quality for the level you're at will help achieve this. The by product of that entertaining football is a much greater chance of success.

The other 2 key priorities for me are already now being achieved:

- A move away from the re-emerging new old boys network and the politics associated with it... Football should be about the game and not AGMs
- Progress and development. The last 6 weeks or so, have been epic in terms of the improvements we are seeing. And it's been largely transparent, no peacocking with the expectation that we fall to our knees proclaiming not to be worthy because the wallpaper of fire was set in place by our glorious leaders, instead changes that add some tangible value...
My priority is promotion at all costs. I don’t care if we are to win, we score in the first 5 minutes and then spend the next 85 or so minutes kicking the ball out of play at every opportunity. Anyway, anyhow, anything as long as we go up. Once we are in the League we can concentrate on playing sexy football.

Focusses the mind!

We are now on a good run after a piss poor start.

Let's hope we improve on our current form to finish as high up the league as possible. The top spot looks like a 'bridge too far', but you never know.

The way we responded against Eastleigh with our centre half being sent off followed by a penalty we battled and got a deserved draw

I would say its been a pretty decent response following Aldershot defeat.

The next month is make or break need to win at least 3 of the tough games coming up, ideally starting Friday, but would take a draw from that game, but our home games are must wins.Playing teams just above or below us some with games in hand, going to be tough, but win bonuses help come on you reds.

I have had to endure plenty of miserable Easters , results wise , over the years so if if we pick up points this year then we may have turned the corner.

Although I agree with this, in the last month there has been a significant improvement in performance. Dare I say even occasional flashes of sexy football. The goals on Saturday were very well crafted.
What's it down to ? Who knows? If you could put your finger on it anyone with resources could do it, but in the last month things have changed. After a long time in the wildernes I've started to look forward to kick off with a smile. Long may it continue.

The number of goals from set plays has increased so that has to be down to putting the work in on the training ground. Mind you the delivery has been decent all season, but early doors quite a few players were guilty of missing heading chances.
