The Groves training ground was always a pants plan, I'll be glad to see it ditched.

They have talked about developing a training complex .Assume that is on the agenda possibly looking for some land to buy as we speak.

There is absolutely zero chance we're going to build a training complex on the Groves. The industrial estate would make sense, so long as there's no dumb conditions forced on the new owners to train within 50cm of the Racecourse.

Same here, used to walk down the field from where I lived in the white house at the top of the fields and watch a few or if the weather was lousy I would get the binoculars out and watch from the lounge window!

Take your point but training grounds and the requirements of full time football clubs have progressed somewhat since the late 70s. It'll do for now though.
