Been playing it professionally since he was 18. Fantastic lower league player and winner on the pitch. If you don't like his football or him personally then that's fine but don't talk crap about him not knowing football. He's forgotten more about football that you'll ever know.
Is the football he plays enjoyable would you through choice go and pay to watch it 99% would answer no, Don't make any mistake he's gone end of season.

99% of fans would answer yes and will watch Wrexham regardless of the football we play. Not many fans have stopped going cos Keates plays it tight (when stadium was open). Crowds dipped cos we were shocking. Keates kept us up by default I will admit.

So now Keates knows football but doesn't play enjoyable football. Changed your mind there haven't you. Keates isn't my cup of tea but to say as you did before he knows nothing about football is crazy. Work in any industry for 20+ years and you'll know it inside and out.

Ideally I'd love to play open and expansive football but Keates deserves credit for taking over the basket case that Hughes left and getting us into Po's so far. I will admit the season isn't over and the takeover has helped

The club is a different beast now and it's no surprise at all things have improved tenfold. We've had Humphrey observing closely for months and people like Peter Moore on hand to advise, it was bound to improve
Yup.

They'll also know that, due to our financial backing, everyone is replaceable.

I've seen this line posted a lot recently. It's not like Keates has managed this in the same season. In fact he showed barely any improvement on Hughes. Come the summer we have our annual mass clear-out and he's starting with a clean slate. It's not the same as turning around the Hughes side. They were all gone by the time this season started.

How many were actually under contract in the summer that we didn't want to retain?

Your living in cuckoo land none of this is down to Keates believe me,if someone had offered me another £250 if I could lay another 200 bricks a day I'd flog my nuts off to achieve it,and footballers are no different, money is the b all and end all for men trying to earn a crust for their mortgage and family.

Keates brought in a lot of new players this season and it takes time for a new team to gel.

You said Keates knows nothing about football. Twice you've ignored that. As I said above Keates is getting a bounce from the takeover 100% and I don't think we'd be in the PO's if we were still Trust owned.

Think we'd played 23 games and 4 wins when Keates took over. Might be wrong but the players were shocking. No one knows what would have happened without Covid but it wasn't an easy job keeping us up

I really don't care. I just care about the results not the motives! Good luck to 'em!
