Default Takeover effect or Bonus Payments effect?

For those who don't read the magnificent 'Like for Like' Thread:

Pre Takeover Wrexham collected 29 points from 20 games - 1.45 per game

Post Takeover Wrexham collected 18 points from 9 games - 2.00 per game

Coincidence?

The fact we brought in some quality in January is the biggest factor I think

it's probably a combination of those two things and what Jono mentions. As well as just team mates getting used to each other.

Without the takeover doubt if we could have afforded to bring in Angus and French

It's all down to the takeover and long may it last

Exciting times

It's all bollocks how f- dumb can people be, it's the R&R factor plus Humphrey talking these guys up, Keates & Co have nothing whatsoever to do with the change in fortunes. Keates is someone who mumbles through interviews pretending he knows football and how it's played, while the players are thinking if we get promoted we could be on to a good thing here, more money ,bonus payments, and the best of everything for a lower league club. If anyone things this reverse in fortune is down to Keates, get a life he's useless and when he's moved on next season let's see how many football league teams,or National league teams employ him,my.answer would be none. Welsh league,Northern Premier maybe.

Keates pretends he knows about football.

Been playing it professionally since he was 18. Fantastic lower league player and winner on the pitch. If you don't like his football or him personally then that's fine but don't talk crap about him not knowing football. He's forgotten more about football that you'll ever know.

Its down to the takeover. It was spelled out what Keates should be doing. No more slacking, no more low standards. Eyes are on him now rather than Spencer not having a clue what's happening 9-5 and then clapping mediocrity over and over again.

The club is a different beast now and it's no surprise at all things have improved tenfold. We've had Humphrey observing closely for months and people like Peter Moore on hand to advise, it was bound to improve

Agree with this, the £50k for a CEO trotted out by the trust in reality looks an absolute bargain. Who'd have thought the above would have such a positive impact.
