IF everyone is Vaccinated. Can't see that being done 'till later in the year until all 18 and above have been offered or accepted their second jab. Should be good to go 2 weeks after that as long as masks continue to be worn.
Maybe restrict entrance to those who have had the full course. Controversial but understandable.
The Vaccine doesn't give 100% immunity and the Virus will still be around.
Clubs will have to start off slowly to prove effective precautions are in place.

Worst of all, Drakeford will come up with some ridiculous restrictions.

Everyone who is vulnerable will have had two jabs by August. I know it’s not 100% effective but we can’t hold things up any more to protect a tiny number of people who might still be vulnerable . Using this logic we will impose more restrictions when flu hits in December , and permanent restrictions on alcohol and food that cause cancers. Society has to accept a degree of risk to function.

As for stopping young people going to matches when they haven’t had two jabs, well that’s a recipe for revolution. They have put lives on hold to protect older people and cannot be penalised for their age .

And masks will be totally disproportionate by then , especially for outside events.

But you are right about Drakeford - he will impose some ridiculous rules and only allow his “easements” (typical Cardiff government abuse of English language’) if we are all good boys and girls.

Comparing Covid to cancer is just getting ridiculous now.

I’m not. I’m talking about risk management and what is acceptable. In the end (quite soon now) we will have to decide what to accept in terms of cases, hospitalisation , deaths, like we do with everything else in life.

Personal view but I think mask wearing will be mandatory in mass gatherings , both indoors and in Stadia until next April to ensure the virus is controlled.
The number of flu cases has dramatically fallen and it appears to be as a direct result of mask wearing, basic hygiene and space which are a result of the measures taken to prevent virus spread.
If we can carry on with this as a minimum restriction it will benefit everyone in the long term and ease the burden on the NHS next Winter.

Wales is currently two days ahead of England's lessening of lockdown restrictions...

id love to see 6,000+ at the racecourse in august, but it's not going to happen. nothing to do with restrictions, all to do with public confidence of those in the top at risk seven groups. they account for around a third of Wrexham fans. Will they wait for their booster in september?

all it takes is another mutation and it goes to pot. e.g. two strains already knock down efficacy from 19 out of twenty to 17 out of 20. still higher than than the flu jab, but the virus's evolutionary goal is too survive and multiply.

another factor will be vaccine passports and lateral flow tests - will they be made necessary? - this could mean six quid extra a ticket. I'm expecting to pay that for gigs this autumn. if they are they will be a barrier to ticket sales.

How is Wales 2 days ahead of England?? When does hospitality reopen??

Wales locked down earlier than England and will open later. Yet we have seen no benefit in case rates from the extra caution.
