Season tickets 2021/2022
Everyone I speak to who regularly attends matches but either never has a season ticket or hasn't had one in donkeys years are saying they are getting one. The main driver seems to be that people want to make sure they get on the wagon early doors to avoid getting left behind as things take off. The current 2,000 will all probably renew then it will be a free for all. I can see potentially over 4,000 sold.....maybe more as the interest is phenominal Thoughts ? |

Re: Season tickets 2021/2022
It's still hard to fathom how well our attendances have stood up given we're playing at the lowest standard of football the club has ever played.
Perhaps it's one of the things the Trust got right in terms of reaching out to supporters over social media. Selling out the ground for the 150th Anniversary game and nearly selling out against Salford on Boxing Day a couple of years ago. People take the piss out of the Flag Days but it was a way of the club connecting with the younger fans. Furthermore, during Trust ownership, I don't recall admission prices being slashed for specific games like they were before. I agree with Back of the Kop, I reckon we'll have at least 4k season ticket holders and regular 6k attendances. |

Re: Season tickets 2021/2022
I'll preface this by saying I don't expect it but given we're now a bit richer than we were, season tickets may be slightly cheaper? As far as I knew we were towards the upper end of ST prices. The new owners may want to capitalise on any potential new fans with a cut in the price. I can't imagine ST sales will be driving force of our transfer budget that they once were so they may see the goodwill of a price decrease as better value than keeping them the same or increasing them.
Just some food for thought. |
