Notts drop continues

Another big defeat today against a tricky team who showed us up not long ago, I know we can only concentrate on our own performances but this is big if we can win the 6 pointer on Friday, up the town!

Our win against Bromley and their defeat tonight negates the Dover points deductions, we just need to not lose there on Friday.

It seems a good time to play them. Hopefully we can give another solid performance on Friday and they continue to struggle.

They get what they deserve sacking another manager. I would have thought they had learned from their mistakes of the last 10 years or so.

That said let's hope they don't get the new manager bounce on Friday.

Listened in a bit to the match coverage on BBC Radio Surrey.

Sounded a comfortable win for Aldershot, with Notts County creating very little.

Commentators (Shot fans?) thought Notts County looked very nervous at the back and lacked confidence.

They also mentioned Wrexham a couple of times. Seemed jealous of the takeover and thought the title was beyond us, but we'd comfortably make the play offs and we'd be the team to beat!

COYR!! In R&R we trust.

Speakingnof Notts County, I see one of their fans has done a statistical analysis of the top 10 and predicted where they will end up. Interesting reading!

When you look at the table, 3rd place is up for grabs with half a dozen teams in the shake up for it.

We're in the mix. Crucial games coming up that will shape the season.

If we can manage to get that 3rd place I actually fancy us to go all the way.I can't believe I'm saying that but with a 3rd place finish we can beat anyone at the Racecourse and the final is always 50/50 but with a share of a £1/4 million at the end the incentive is definitely there to go on from here

Hope we press them and not sit back to invite a confidence lacking side to attack us, unless we have a good plan to get them on the break.

Either way, if we are good enough we can win it.
