![]() Talking about top of the form when I was a lad (oh so long ago!!), Top of The Form was a sort of University Challenge for UK secondary schools, and Grove Park won it three years in succession, firstly on the Radio and then it transferred to the TV, and they won the first two series and were "retired" undefeated. Would be lovely to have a football team that matched that performance, or even possibly a local school!

![]() Grove Park GS for Boys won Top of the Form once on the radio then Grove Park GS for Girls won it the following year!
The Boys team appeared on 'In Town Tonight' on the BBC in the early fifties. The programme ended with 'Carry on London!' London's traffic had been stopped at its beginning! Michael Burke, the youngest team member was engineered into a 'smart alec' question by its presenter. 'What was the biggest island in the World before Australia?' 'Australia sir!' Burke replied! ![]() Thanks for the response made me check Grove Park boys won 1955, 1968 0n the radio and 1962 inaugural programme on TV. No mention of the girls school in the records, but who knows it was a longtime ago, isn't memory strange?

![]() Notts County seemed to be out of form, yet when looking at the Form Table for the last 6 games after yesterday’s game they have collected the same number of points as we have https://www.soccerstats.com/formtabl...eague=england5
