Your wrong on Davies but I'd agree with you on Bickerstaff.

Not wanting an unhappy player is fair enough. Not replacing him and sending Bickerstaff out on loan (at the same time) defies logic.

He obviously felt Bickerstaff was not yet good enough for the National League, which he isn’t. To have to rely on him to score us in to the playoffs would have put too much pressure on him.

All timing, he didn't have enough time tk replace. Not sure whether Bickerstaff has already been sent on loan at that point or not, if not I'll give you that one but in my view he is in no way good enough for a playoff chasing side anyway

Letting Yussuf go without a replacement will turn out to be a very poor piece of business.

It’s a shame because we competed with Notts County today quite well. We just had very little threat beyond our midfield. The league has been there for the taking this season and we will once again fall short.
Nails it

And being honest I'm doubtful JP was / is good enough anyway for a promotion push

DK got it wrong and I suspect he'l pay for it

He had plenty of time to sign a striker. Ponticelli has been injured one and off for most of the season. A striker and a CM were the priorities and we got neither and then lost our top scorer to a rival. Bickerstaff may not be good enough yet but would you prefer Bickerstaff or Pearson up front? Bickerstaff left on the 1st Feb

Maybe Bickerstaff was an error then. My feelings about Keates aren't far off yours but I just think on this one the captain hindsight brigade should cut him a little slack

Some RP posters got it badly wrong when they hailed the playoffs are nailed! We will now be fortunate if we retain seventh place with our badly depleted shoestring squad!

, plenty had concerns with the forward line on February 1st, so It didnt need Captain hindsight to see there coukd be problems with a cramped fixture list

I like DK , but he got this one wrong
