Pivotal set of games and we looked really good for 15 mins.So unlucky.. loosing Yussuf last minute in the transfer window;now Kwame and Ponty. Leaves us toothless - Angus is not a main pivotal striker.Unfortunately we look doomed. Hope I’m wrong. Go on prove we can do it.

This is where having a giant hollow behind the first 11 really shows.

Adversity brings the best out of some. Not Keates, obviously.

If it had been Dibs he would have been criticised for either not coming for the ball or for moving his feet too late to try and save the header.

One difference between Dibble and Lainton is that Dibs will sometimes come, even if he isn't certain he will get there. Rob, though, seems not to come unless he is certain he can get there.

Harsh to criticise the keeper and Pearson. The goal scorer, Ellis, started his run from outside the penalty area and met the cross perfectly. It was almost inevitable after the way we'd played after Ponticelli went off. Little or no midfield creativity, poor crosses into the box, most straight to their keeper. Very few attempts to get the fullbacks behind their defence. Keates ball returns with a vengence. Jarvis on far to late. Young's worst game for some time.
We go again Monday. Start praying!!!!!

Losing was no surprise and sums Keates up, a loser mentality when it really really matters in a big game. Would anyone be confident going away to one of the current sides in the playoffs?
We'll be out of the play-offs in a few weeks. One striker and a useless idiot as manager will see to that. Can any really see us getting more than a few point off the big games coming up. You can expect uber-negative tactics from keates - desperate for a point at any cost, which will no doubt result in a fair few defeats. Season over, such a shame when a few players coming good could have meant promotion. Unfortunately, poor management and terrible tactics have screwed up the season once again.

Those are fair points, the Keates bashers are out though because when something does go wrong Keates then puts Durrell on instead of Jarvis and then we lump long balls up to Dior and a 5'6" attacking midfielder . Massive gaps between defence and attack and a complete loss of shape that wasn't rectified at half time.

It's not like this is the first time Keates has proven himself tactically inept either so if anyone wants a moan about Keates they get a free hit from me because I'll be lining up to have a moan too.

But Yussuf was on loan to us from Blackpool...It has not happened last minute!

A good start where we looked very lively but as the game went on the eventual result was going to be obvious, we have a weak squad which is devoid of any quality going forward against the better side and 2 very poor wing backs who’re eventually as poor going forward as they’re defending.
